(President)
Doug Brooks was born in Seattle and has advanced degrees in Electronics from
Stanford University and in Business Administration from the University of
Washington.
He started his career as an electronics design engineer on the Surveyor Spacecraft Program at Hughes Aircraft Co. He then began a career in marketing that led to Vice President, General Manager, and President of such companies as LODEC, Inc., Kistler-Morse, ELDEC, and Bourns, Inc. He is active in numerous trade associations and sits as an outside boardmember for two Seattle companies and one trade association. He has a regular monthly column, "Brookspeak", in Printed Circuit Design Magazine.

A native and continuing resident of Seattle, Dave started his design career with
an early word processing firm known as AKI back in 1974. Since then he has
worked for or contracted for such firms as Advanced Technology Laboratories,
Quinton Instruments, John Fluke Manufacturing, and Physio Control. In the past,
Dave has formed his own firm, Precision Design Services, Inc., and had an equity
position in North American Computer Services (NACS), both PCB Service Bureaus.
