UCCALC.exe is copyrighted (2003-2010) by Douglas G. Brooks and distributed under
a special license arrangement by UltraCAD Design, Inc. The calculator requires a license.
If you acquire a license, a license file, named "UCADuccalc.dat", will be e-mailed to you.
Starting with version 3.0, this file must be placed
in EITHER of these directories.
The root directory of your system drive (typically c:\ ) or
A \uccalc\ subfolder under the root directory of
your system drive (typically c:\uccalc\)
The license file is specially coded and cannot be edited or modified in any way. Licenses are issued to individuals (not companies). That user may use the calculator on any computer, but only on one computer at a time. No other user may use the license.
A license currently costs $375.00. You may acquire a license by filling out a copy of the following form for each license (along with payment) and sending it to UltraCAD. The form is not interactive; after filling it out please copy/paste it to an e-mail, print it and fax it to us, or mail it to us.

Payment:
Check: Copy the above information and send it with a check (for
$375 USD for each license) payable to
UltraCAD (at the address above.)
Credit Card: We cannot accept credit cards directly at our
offices or over the phone, so please don't ask! But we can now accept personal, corporate, and foreign*
credit cards (MC and VISA only) through our PayPal account. Click on the PayPal
logo below and you will be taken to PayPal's secure credit card payment server.
Fill in the appropriate information (Payment for differential calculator license
for $375 USD). When payment has been accepted (by PayPal)
you will be returned to this site. While we will receive immediate notice from
PayPal, you should also send the ordering information above to us by
e-mail. The most direct way to send it is to:

International Credit Cards: PayPal registration and verification of International credit cards takes approximately 3 days. After that time, you can then make payment to UltraCAD.

Purchase Order: UltraCAD will consider accepting a Purchase Order from large, established domestic companies. We do not accept international purchase orders (too much trouble for a $375.00 purchase!) The Purchase Order must explicitly state that payment will be made within our 30-day term! (This is too small a purchase to make us also have to go back and ask for payment.) Call us for details.
Why don't we accept POs? We prefer that you pay for the license and get reimbursement from your company. That should be faster and easier for everyone --- it saves several expensive steps of PO generation, invoicing, payables processing, collection questions, etc. If you find it difficult to deal with your accounting department, we don't want to either!
Cash: We do not encourage payment in cash, but we will accept it. Some International customers have found this is the easiest way to purchase!
